Arsenal held the first edition of the ADN events, ADN Denis Gagnon, during the Grand Prix weekend. The series of events, meant to celebrate the talent of local artists while plunging the public in their universe through different entertaining materializations of their vision, will emphasize on industries such as fashion, art, music, dance and culinary art.
The event brought back memories of the last fashion week, which was also held at Arsenal. Although it took place during the Grand Prix weekend, the room was abounding with chic beautiful people. The ambiance was slightly disconcerting as we did not really know what to expect, but overall the result was quite original: Models sporting army inspired outfits posing on mini stages surrounded by asymmetric wooden poles here and there; Ambiance setting music combined to a mini bar offering Wine and Champaign; contemporary art portrayed by what appeared to be naked Adam & Eve, Rodin’s thinker, a huge chandelier in a romantic corner; A mini fashion show displaying the designer’s latest Fall Winter collection. We particularly loved seeing the designer’s playful young at heart side and we totally connected with him; The soirée concluded with a party with some A list attendees like Genevieve Borne, Herby Moreau, etc.
Congrats to Arsenal and Denis Gagnon for pulling off the first of a series of new kind of events that will insufflate a breath of fresh air to the artistic scene in Montreal. We are so looking forward to the next editions of ADN Arsenal.
