I think most people get dressed based on their own average perception of themselves and once in a while, they bring up their A game. I say why bring up your A game once in a blue moon when you can look your best every day. Do you remember how you feel beautiful and confident when you dress up for your birthday or for an important occasion? You can feel like that every day. In fact, you SHOULD feel like that every day. That beauty shines through and people perceive it. It makes others wonder who you are and they want to get to know you. Therefore, I will be sharing some style tips and outfit inspiration for you to explore.
The skirt suit is such a powerful outfit at the office. I love same fabric suits as much as different matches, but same fabric suits project a stronger professional image. The vest should be fitted and centered at the waist line, for this look, to accentuate the silhouette.
Putting a round statement necklace under a collar subtly enhances the look. I love this one in particular for the edginess its metallic chains bring to the look and it can be chic or led back styled. The buttoned up shirt gives a geeky school girl look.
Remember how we grew up hearing our shoes and purse should always match? I rarely follow that rule. What truly matters is the overall harmony of your outfit and the message behind it. Can you guess the message behind this look?
I chose this bag to complete my look because it makes the blue stones on the necklace stand out and it was in the same tones as the blue shirt.
I love these Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I also love that they are not the typical office shoes, but they bring such a strong go getter/army touch and edginess to a look and they are so comfortable that I love incorporating them.
