Last valentine’s day, Denis Gagnon has combined his sense of presentation and detail to Christian Faure’s sense of culinary refinement to create or should we say artistically sculpt 3 succulent sweet masterpieces. Those pieces of art are availbale at Maison Christian Faure in Montreal until summer.
Faure’s Maison has opened its doors last fall, but his reputation preceeded him as he was named Best Craftsman of France. The idea of a collab came naturally to his mind after Gagnon became a regular customer working a few steps away.
The price range is between $18 and $25 and the three pastries were inspired by Gagnon’s Lac Saint-Jean youth treats, Montreal’s Habitat 67 and his love for dark chocolate. The designer has also thought of designing a cultry leather pouch.
