I just love it when fashion designers collaborate with other names, whether it’s with someone from the same industry or not. I believe it is beneficial for everybody and it is always so exciting to see the outcome when you combine two visions. When I heard about Montreal fashion designer Marie Saint Pierre‘s collaboration with Meubles RE-NO, I couldn’t contain my excitement and my urge to see the result in person and I even got to visit the workshop…
Meubles RE-NO which is located in Montreal near the Olympic Stadium, offers refined modern furniture. Saint Pierre’s collection for RE-NO, which I would describe as modern chic with a touch of vibrant colors, contains 20 pieces (including some accessories) and prices range between $900 and $9,000 for furniture and as of $16 for accessories. This is not the designer’s first incursion in the home decor world as she launched a home accessory collection back in 2010 and refurbished a Jean Houde showhome. Furniture was a natural extention for her as it, just like fashion, embellishes people’s lives. but is way easier to design as there are no sizes.
Take a look at the modern and polished pieces from the collection. Oh, and those giant poofs are more comfy than you are currently imagining! Couldn’t get up!!
