Now that Valentine’s day is behind us, I thought some of you single ladies and gents would want to meet a Mike Ross, Harvey Spector, Rachel Zayn or even an Olivia Pope and here’s my selection of hot spots for cute YPs in suits, because let’s be real, nothing’s hotter than a man in a suit! Remember to be open to meet new people for networking, possible friendships or relationships and mostly to HAVE FUN! 🙂
1. Houston, Square Victoria. This restaurant/bar is downtown near the big corporate towers. The first time it captured my attention was while randomly driving by and seeing many hot young men dressed as they were shooting a Suits episode. I almost lost my concentration on the road, so I obviously had to try it out afterwards. I was not deceived by the ambiance, the menu and the eye candy!
2. Newtown on Crescent. This place is 50/50 as there are older professionals as well since it’s near the offices on Crescent and Rene-Levesque. The delightful cocktails paired with the choice of tapas can be qualified as date-friendly. Oh and the jewel of the place is, without a doubt, the roof top terrace during summer.
3. That little Parc on Rene-Levesque and Peel aka Dorchester square. This is a must try during summer. Grab something to eat and improvise a lunch escapade there! It used to be my breath of fresh air during my busy work days back when I worked on Rene-Levesque. Trees, very fashionable young professionals, people picnicking or doing yoga on the grass. Ahhh damn you winter!
4. Hotel W’s Plateau Lounge. It’s a kind of Dress to Kill and See and be Seen type of place. Love the cocktails, although a tad bit pricey if you’re on a budget. If you’re on the hunt make sure the person you’re making your target is aligned with your objective; It’s an hotel after all and there could be some tourists possibly leaving town tomorrow.
5. Pullman and their vast selection of wines and young attractive young professionals. 😉 They also serve tapas. Try their Russian-style Gravlax and the mini bison burgers with the tiny tiny fries that look like toothpicks. However, it can be a bit crowded and noisy sometimes, so it could be great to meet new people, but not for a first date (I personally like hearing what my date is saying without having to yell from the bottom of my lungs).
