LORI, ladies of real influence, a networking and media platform for women, put together quite a fashion show a few days ago. On April 28th, Phi center’s 4th floor was a great gathering of professional and business women, accompanied by a few men, eager to network and attend a fashion show showcasing local Montreal designers.
Imagine getting in a room full of stylish and professional women and men with a variety of food and drinks that would make you drool for days: Petit Lapin’s gluten free cupcakes, Guaufrabec’s waffles and chocolate fountain, Baiser velouté’s fried mini donuts, squish candy and small bites circulating. Then, Daniele Henkel kick starting the evening with an inspiring speech about the importance of following your dreams and passion, followed by Camille DG taking over the stage to animate the fashion show where 12 influential and real women walked the runway making wearing local so effortless and chic.
About the designers:
The designer selection was diverse and presented different styles for the stylish woman of influence. The list included Jesse Rowes’s young and sexy lace and leather dresses, Melissa Bolduc’s led back casual and comfortable cuts and fabrics, Lococina’s classy feminine dresses that seem easy to convert from chic to casual, Elsoa’s sophisticated silk and refreshingly colorful blouses, Jennifer Glasgow’s chic and boho chic dresses that strategically emphasize on feminine curves, Elama Fur’s modern fur outer wear and accessories, Isabelle Deslauriers’ Long jackets for active women and NISSE’s original chic work and cocktail suits & outfits. Accessories were also part of the runway with Anne-Marie Chagnon, JOTI, Jade, Virginie Louve, Kristina, all of which are not your ordinary jewelry pieces due to use of different materials, techniques and designs.
